2280 Dundas St West (Loblaws site)

An new application has been submitted for 2280 Dundas St W so City Planning and Councillor Perks will be holding a community meeting on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, from 6:00 - 8:00pm to allow you to learn more about the application, ask questions, and let them gather feedback. The meeting will be chaired by Councillor Perks and include presentations from City Planning and the applicant, followed by a Q&A period to allow discussion.

The proposal includes seven mixed-use and residential buildings on four development blocks, a new public park, and a new public street system. The proposal also includes approximately 1,923 residential units including 735 rental units as well as commercial retail and office space.

Choice Properties Reit submitted a rezoning application for this site in August 2022. The revised application does not include the Bishop Morocco/Thomas Merton School site. The applicant  will maintain conversation with the Toronto Catholic District and Toronto District School boards in parallel of this process to determine the best options for the site.

Community consultations to review this application began in early 2023.  This, in addition to a pre-application meeting and roundtable workshops in 2022.
