2400 Dundas St West

A re-zoning application has been submitted for 2400-2440 Dundas St W.

The application proposes two mixed buildings comprised of three towers 18, 25, and 36-storeys in height. The proposal will include retail space, grocery store space, live-work units, core employment uses and a total of 873 dwelling units. A centrally located privately owned open space (POPS) is proposed facing Dundas Street West and a connection to the GO/UP Station pickup/drop off area will be provided to the south.

Virtual Community Meeting

To allow you to learn more about the application, ask questions, and gather feedback, City Planning will be holding a Virtual Community Meeting on Tuesday, June 20th, 2023, from 6 - 8 PM. Councillor Perks will be in attendance, with presentations from both City Planning staff and the applicant, followed by a Q&A period to allow for discussion.

Fora Developments, property owner of 2400-2440 Dundas St west, is holding an Online Community Meeting to share preliminary plans for a mixed-use development on this site.

2400 Dundas St West, north of Bloor St West, is currently home to FreshCo and Shoppers Drug Mart, across from Chelsea Avenue.

In July, 2022 City Council approved redesignation of the lands at 2400 Dundas St West from General Employment Areas to Mixed Use Areas to permit residential, office, service and retail uses. 

A pre-application meeting with the community to share a proposed rezoning application is scheduled for Feb 22, 2023.
